All prints are printed by me on double-weight fiber-based paper, archivally
processed, selenium toned, signed, numbered, and dry-mounted. Mats
are archival quality and acid free.  Actual print sizes may vary slightly.
These two birch trees are in a grove of trees just next to a hot springs spa in Kamikochi
National Park in Japan.  The wonderful soft light that day was perfect for close-ups showing
the fantastic details of the bark.  At first glance, this seems like only one tree, but if you look
carefully, the right-hand portion is second, smaller tree, with a slightly different bark pattern.
