| The day that my friend Toshiyuki Kawai took me to visit Kamikochi was wonderful. He has a pass that allows him to drive into the park, whereas most people have to ride the bus, and then walk wherever else they want to go. The day was cool and cloudy with fog and a bit of rain - all in all a very Japanese day. I loved this tree, standing out against the fog-shrouded mountains, and we stood in front of a gift/snack shop with our cameras on tripods, waiting for the fog to be just right. The photo has a kind of lonesome quality that really appeals to me. |
| As most people seem to prefer them, prices are for framed prints, ready to hang. I use a very nice matt black wood frame 7/8 of an inch wide, with a white mat. If you would like to order unframed prints, go to the "Purchase" page for pricing. |
