| I was looking through some old negatives one day during one of my periodic darkroom cleaning/reorganization spasms, and was struck by this image. I can't for the life of me remember ever printing it, but loved the way the negative looked. Recently, I had a little time and energy left at the end of a darkroom session, and decided to make a work print, which turned into a very satisfying print. In those days, I was even less efficient at record keeping than I am now, but I seem to remember being at the raft put-in on the Nantahala river early one morning (it wasn't nearly as busy as it is now), and setting up the view camera to shoot this, and the lens, but not very much more. Good lesson in keeping field notes of some sort. Oh well - I still like the image. |
| As most people seem to prefer them, prices are for framed prints, ready to hang. I use a very nice matt black wood frame 7/8 of an inch wide, with a white mat. If you would like to order unframed prints, go to the "Purchase" page for pricing. |
