| Near the end of a day wandering the Blue Ridge Parkway, I went to the top of Mt. Mitchell to see if there was anything interesting to be done with the clouds I could see from lower elevations. The top of the mountain was socked in with the clouds, so I headed down. As I reached the restaurant area, I could see clouds flowing over the top of Blackstock Mountain, and stopped to watch. I made several frames as the clouds swirled and changed as they crested the mountain and poured into the valley. This one with the tree in the foreground is the one I like best. It has a sense of impendingness (if that's a word) that appeals to me. |
| As most people seem to prefer them, prices are for framed prints, ready to hang. I use a very nice matt black wood frame 7/8 of an inch wide, with a white mat. If you would like to order unframed prints, go to the "Purchase" page for pricing. |
