| This stand of Jerusalem Artichokes grows along the road of the Blue Ridge Parkway that leads to Balsam Mountain Campground between Soco Gap and Cherokee. Just before Mile High overlook on the left, the brilliant yellow flowers make a 50-foot splash against the deep greens of the woods. Bill and I spent most of an hour working on the side of the road, trying to find a photo that would say something about these amazing flowers. Truth be told, I spent an hour - Bill would have been ready to go in much less time with his digital SLR. Oh well. |

| As most people seem to prefer them, prices are for framed prints, ready to hang. I use a very nice matt black wood frame 7/8 of an inch wide, with a white mat. If you would like to order unframed prints, go to the "Purchase" page for pricing. |
