All prints are printed by me on double-weight fiber-based paper, archivally   
processed, selenium toned, signed, numbered, and dry-mounted. Mats        
are archival quality and acid free.  Actual print sizes may vary slightly.
We spent a fall weekend with friends on Edisto Island, a refuge from the rampant development
taking place elsewhere along the South Carolina coast.  As usual, I was up early, and out to
see about the sunrise.  This morning, it was raining a bit, so sunrise on the beach was
uninteresting, and I drove down this back road that we had seen while exploring the day
before.  The soft light and the rain turned the sand road into a mysterious, captivating place.  
The light was so limited that the best exposure was 4 minutes.  Worth the wait, I think.
