| A fellow photog sent me a snapshot of this old church on Hooper's Creek Road in Fletcher, but it took me a while to get around to finding it and trying to shoot. It's definitely a cloudy-day shot, which also suits the mood of the sad old building. This was made on Halloween morning in a very light rain, and does have a bit of a haunted look. The man who lives across the road told me that the church was built in 1916 after yet another doctrinal split, like those that have created so many of our little churches. It was active on and off through the 1950's, and has been headed downhill ever since. |
| As most people seem to prefer them, prices are for framed prints, ready to hang. I use a very nice matt black wood frame 7/8 of an inch wide, with a white mat. If you would like to order unframed prints, go to the "Purchase" page for pricing. |
