| English Chapel United Methodist church is snuggled in on the backside of the Davidson River campground in Pisgah Forest, NC. It's quite rare in that it is completely surrounded by National Forest. The existing building was dedicated in 1941, and is built from river rock dragged out of the river just next to the church. This building replaces a mid-19th century wooden structure on the same piece of land. It's still an active church, and I was there shooting a How we Worship piece for the newspaper, when after the service, I looked back on the way to the car and saw this marvelous sky. I shot a couple of frames with the digital camera, and went to the car for a tripod and the 4x5 that I carry in the trunk. I was very thankful that the clouds hung around long enough to set up the camera. |
| As most people seem to prefer them, prices are for framed prints, ready to hang. I use a very nice matt black wood frame 7/8 of an inch wide, with a white mat. If you would like to order unframed prints, go to the "Purchase" page for pricing. |
