| On a visit to Matsumoto, Japan, I met a fellow photographer whose family owns a small camera store. He offered to take me to Kamikochi, a national park in the mountains west of the city. After photographing all day, we made our last stop at a line of blooming cherry trees growing along the bank of a lake. An evening fog was developing, and the cherry blossoms glowed softly in the early evening light. I was immediately attracted to this tree that had lost many of its branches, leaving just the single curved body against the fog and mountain background. The negative is harder to print than I thought it would be, but I like the photo a lot. |
| As most people seem to prefer them, prices are for framed prints, ready to hang. I use a very nice matt black wood frame 7/8 of an inch wide, with a white mat. If you would like to order unframed prints, go to the "Purchase" page for pricing. |
