| The morning after I was surprised by the gorgeous band of fog on the meadow I went back at the same time so see if lightning might strike twice in the same spot. The fog wasn't there, so I drove around to the other side of the meadow to look at the little grove of trees from the other side, not really expecting much, which of course is when something special happens. When the sun broke through the gap between Half Dome and Washington Tower and lit up the trees and the grass around them, I saw the shapes of the mountains behind and the line of evergreens looming behind the bright grove as an opportunity for another interesting shot. The bright area at the top left requires quite a bit of burning, but the result is good, I think. |

| As most people seem to prefer them, prices are for framed prints, ready to hang. I use a very nice matt black wood frame 7/8 of an inch wide, with a white mat. If you would like to order unframed prints, go to the "Purchase" page for pricing. |
